CARAVAN OF HOPE:

THE MOTHERS OF DZALEKA REFUGEE CAMP ARE CRYING OUT FOR HELP

A VOLUNTEER'S INITIATIVE BY FRATERNITY WITHOUT BORDERS US

OUR MISSION

Women refugees in Malawi urgently need our help to feed their children. Surviving in one of the world’s poorest countries, these war refugees, often widows or single mothers, are driven to desperation just to find food. Tragically, many are forced into prostitution and suffer abuse simply to prevent starvation for themselves and their children.

Our mission is clear: to find 50 compassionate sponsors who will stand with these women. Your support, whether it’s a generous $50 per month or any amount you’re comfortable contributing, will make a profound difference in their lives.

COUNTDOWN TO DEPARTURE

Join us as we count down to the beginning of an extraordinary journey.

Our caravan departs on July 11th, 2025. Every moment leading up to our departure is a chance to make a difference. Your support during these crucial days can change lives.

MEET THE CARAVANERS

Our mission is powered by the passion and dedication of ten remarkable individuals.

These are the faces of hope and solidarity, each with a story to tell, each with a heart committed to hope to the refugees in Malawi.

We will personally visit each sponsored woman to deliver the life-changing news of their support and immediate start in the field, enabling them to raise their children with dignity and build a more secure future...

WHY DZALEKA REFUGEE CAMP?

Dzaleka Refugee Camp, in Malawi, is home to 58,000 refugees from nations like the DRC and Burundi, faces a catastrophic aid crisis. Confined by law and previously reliant on a meager $5 monthly from World Food Program USA, they now have no support due to USAID cuts. Compounding this, WFP expects to suspend all food assistance in Dzaleka entirely in July.

TRANSFORMATIVE IMPACT

With your support, we can turn the page on this story.

The Field’s Mother Project offers a beacon of hope.

We provide these women with dignified work in agroforestry fields. In return, they receive food, access to our nurturing nursery/school for two children, and vital financial aid, helping them restore their dignity and autonomy.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

To make this dream a reality, we need to reach our fundraising goal of 50 sponsors.

We aim to visit 50 mothers to invite them to begin dignified work in agroforestry the next day.

OUR PROMISE

Fraternity Without Borders US is committed not only to achieving, but also to demonstrating the impact of your generosity.

At the end of the campaign, we will share a detailed report, with images and information on how every dollar was spent to make this vital project a reality.
